Deauville, Trouville & Honfleur
May 5, 2023
We spent a long week-end in May in Normandy. We started with Deauville, a small city famous for its casino and its beach. Crossing a bridge got us to Trouville, a another small city that also has a casino and a beach! On the second day, we went to the port of Honfleur, from which the crew that founded Quebec left!
Big-up to my fanatics, who found the city on Instagram: Thibault & Noëlie. Special mention to Yoyo who almost found it 🤏
Yves Saint-Laurent bought the castle of a writer he was fond of, located right next to Deauville. The area is full of very expensive properties.
Deauville is also famous for its hippodrome.
We then crossed the bridge, to get to Trouville.
This is the port of Honfleur. This place is very beautiful, with homes that stack against each other.
We got some cider, a specialty from Brittany.
I liked how the mailman just crushed mail to fit the mailbox.
